04.07.25. Link Hands. Link Hearts
Hello dear Friends,
No In-Person Metta Today
(out of town, healing up my arm)
🌿
If the Dalai Lama's 2009 prophecy holds true, “The Western women will heal the world”.
If the healer Barbara Brennan's 1999 vision is accurate too—that the dominant undercurrent energy of the next hundred years of our planet holding us sacred is a horizontal line of energy rooted in the matriarch; the feminine principles of compassion, tend-and-befriend, inclusivity, and mutuality.
If in fact this is all true– that interconnection, interdependence and compassion will heal the world and the feminine has an essential role– then my friends, it's time to rise like the tide and offer our offering, our light.
Rising: we know in our bones.
It is what the natural world and women do:
know how to instinctively rise out of hard ground.
It is time to rise horizontally–link hands, link hearts, link lights, link our individual heart-offerings for the benefit of all. I see we do not have time for shy (even though I am the Queen of Shy), hide, stay small, or hold back. Our light is needed. Being matches for each other is also needed too.
“If you have knowledge, let others light their candles in it.”
— Margaret Fuller
🌿
Back in-person next week, April 14th! See you then.
So grateful we are here together.
Love, Wini

🌸 Two Poems to Share
When The Heart | Michael Leunig
When the heart
Is cut or cracked or broken,
Do not clutch it;
Let the wound lie open.
Let the wind
From the good old sea blow in
To bathe the wound with salt,
And let it sting.
Let a stray dog lick it,
Let a bird lean in the hole and sing
A simple song like a tiny bell,
And let it ring.
What I Know of Love When Times Are Dark | Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer
And if you can’t find a candle,
then light the wick of your wonder.
And if you can’t find your wonder,
then now might be a good time
to pray. And if you don’t
know how to pray,
then perhaps you are doing it right.
What do I know of prayer?
Only that every prayer that has saved me
is a prayer that has found me
instead of the other way round—
a prayer that comes through me,
as if I am nothing more
than flesh in service to a prayer.
And if there is a candle, then light it.
And if there is a candle, ask it
to be your teacher. And if there is
a candle, notice how far its light
can reach. See if you, too, can touch
the world as generously as a candle,
just that far, holding back not even
the tiniest measure of love.
🌿 “...holding back not even the tiniest measure of love.”

🌸 Three Quotes |Terry Tempest Williams. Sharon Blackie. Yung Pueblo.
“When we don't listen to our intuition, we abandon our souls. And we abandon our souls because we are afraid if we don't, others will abandon us.” ― Terry Tempest Williams, When Women Were Birds: Fifty-four Variations on Voice
“It is possible that grief, despair, and agency dance in the same holy darkness. The power of the Sacred Feminine and our gifts as women are being called forth. This is the moment when we remember that “once upon a time we sang with the tongues of seals and flew with the wings of swans, that we forged our own paths through the dark forest while creating a community of its many inhabitants…” — Sharon Blackie
“What happens after you find yourself? You say yes to less so you can stay aligned with what matters. You only do what feels genuinely right in your intuition and let everything else go. You connect with people that add to your radiance. You move with bold and genuine energy.” ― Yung Pueblo
🌸 Something to Be Part Of | Rising
"The world will be saved by the Western woman"
— His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, Vancouver Peace Summit 2009
This came my way a powerful watch by Rosemary Rawcliffe, International Filmmaker & Humanitarian Founder, Frame of Mind Films (check out out all her films, a worthy endeavor)
On March 12, 1959, 15,000 unarmed Tibetan women took to the streets of Lhasa to oppose the violent occupation of their country by the Communist Chinese army. For the first time on film, three generations of Tibetan women and His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama tell the story of one of the great movements of nonviolent resistance in modern history. 🌸 Closing Song | Calling All Angels
A song from long ago, a song that touches me with tears with every listen. A song to play on repeat. A song to seep deep, touch your longing and prayers, call to your angels, to the sweetness and beauty of this earth.
Lyrics:
“...and every day you gaze upon the sunset
With such love and intensity
Why it's almost as if, oh if you could only crack the code
You'd finally understand what this all means
Ah, but if you could, do you think you would trade it all
All the pain and suffering?
Ah, but then you would have missed
The beauty of the light upon this earth
And the sweetness of the leaving.”
Listen on YouTube (5:17 min) or Spotify (5:16 in)
🌿
“May you call on your angels
Ask for guidance and help.
May you be a light for others.
May you add your radiance into this world
So ripe with holy devastation and holy joy.”
Have a blessed day,
Love, Wini đź’–
