Join me for a sacred retreat experience this fall, from September 11-14, 2025! Come deepen into your inner wisdom through meditative practices to hold your life sacred.
We'll explore the beginning practices for cultivating an open heart, rooted in Eastern traditions. These foundational practices—Mindfulness, the Five Elements, and the Six Paramitas—will introduce us to the nature of the mind as a doorway into a wider view. This perspective helps us unwind the patterns that are running our lives.
On Saturday morning of our retreat, we'll explore our inner truths through the innate wisdom of horses. Linda Bruce, owner of Soulful Prairies and Equine Gestalt practitioner, will be our guide.
All of this will unfold in a beautiful, unique environment.

The Property
Soulful Prairies offers a serene escape across 80 acres in Woodstock, Illinois.
You can unwind among the quiet pines, discover the enchanting Fairy Forest, or wander through the labyrinth and winding trails.
This expansive property provides endless opportunities to explore and connect with beauty, with nature, a sacred refuge into the ground of your being.
Accommodations
Our overnight accommodations will be in two locations— the Guest Suites on the lower level of the Main House or in the historic 1830’s log cabin.
Accommodations are double occupancy. Single occupancy may be available upon request.
Guest Suites—The four shabby-chic bedrooms share two full bathrooms and a cozy common sitting area with kitchenette amenities. You will also have access to the Pasture View Lounge where you can relax and view the herd wander the back pastures of the property.
Cabin—Go back in time while staying in our historic log cabin. The three upstairs bedrooms share a full bathroom, full kitchen, and sitting area on the first floor.

Thursday dinner through Sunday breakfast

There are two tiers for payment:
$1,475 Standard Fee
$1,275 Reduced Fee (for those that need a little support.)
